Protesters Gather in Cambridge to Oppose Rep. Andy Harris

On Thursday, March 13, 2025, over 100 demonstrators assembled along Route 50 in Cambridge, Maryland, to protest against Representative Andy Harris (R-Md.). Organized by Cambridge Indivisible, the protest coincided with Harris's speech at the Cambridge Hyatt. Protesters expressed frustration over his perceived lack of accessibility and responsiveness to constituent concerns. Theresa Night-McFadden, a protester, stated that Harris has been unavailable and unresponsive to town hall requests. Michelle Fowle, founder of Cambridge Indivisible, criticized Harris for avoiding constituents and opposing funding within the Inflation Reduction Act, which she claims harms Maryland farmers.
